Regrets

When you have lived for more than half a century, you have more experiences on decisions. Good or bad, with references of outcomes you have encountered.

You will start to think, what if I can start everything over, what would I have chosen? Didn’t waste time on that woman, spent less on stupid hobbies, bought a lot of Amazon stock when it went IPO…

I guess I would regret 1/3 of my choices. I am sure, though, the decision of marrying my wife, having the two children, adopting our three cats are the best decisions. These, however, are the interconnected outcome, probably, from that 1/3 of my regretful picks. Interesting thought, isn’t it?

Rationale? There are arrangements, choices. A lot of misfortunes or bad lucks actually preparing you to a better tomorrow. It is alright to be low, but not alright to stay there. Life is a journey. People cannot choose what to experience but to be happy or not. I have pick the former one. You?
